London - Labour costs (for one photographer and/or videographer)

Labour price cap of £150.00 per day within London (maximum); but our photographers will not work for more than 8 hours in a single day, to allow for adequate times for breaks, rest periods, etc. Standard minimum deposit of £30.00 is required, by bank transfer, before we accept an assignment. The deposit will be kept if late cancellation is received, but will be refunded if 7 days, or more, advance notice of cancellation is given to the email address shown at our contact page, being:  fsfandf@outlook.com

The minimum assignment, project price, we will consider is £60.00 to cover labour costs for anything up to the first 2 hours, and £30.00 is added for each additional hour (with the hour being rounded up for fee calculation purposes).

There is no additional travel cost fee for our photographer to arrive at a site within London, but additional travel costs may be charged if travelling between locations is required.

Example 1: if our agreed start time and arrival at location is 8pm within London, and we are required to work until 10:20pm the same day, we will charge the fee for 3 hours of £90.00.

Example 2: if our agreed start time is 8pm, and we finish working at 8:10pm the same day, we will still charge our minimum fee of £60.00 (even though we worked for less than 1 hour).

Example 3: photos are required at various sites in London, taking approximately 8 hours in one day, with no additional travel charges as the customer took us to locations in his/her car. We will charge our fixed day cap of £150.00.

Example 4: photos are required at various sites in London, taking approximately 8 hours in one day, but the photographer had to hire an Uber car to get between the different locations. We will charge our fixed day cap of £150.00  PLUS the additional Uber travel costs.

CURRENTLY, WE DO NOT CHARGE VAT, BUT THIS IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

Outside of London - Labour costs

The above rates still apply for labour costs, but additional fees will be charged for the travel time taken to travel outside of London, and if required the costs of any additional travel expenses.

Camera & Video equipment hire cost

There is no additional hire charge for the photographer/videographer/filmmaker bringing and using the standard camera that they already own mentioned on their profile. However, we can, and do, rent out additional cameras and camcorders as per the need. These include the BlackMagic Pro 6K, Blackmagic URSA Mini Pro 12K and / or other Netflix approved cameras as per the project. These will incur additional day(s) hire charges and we will require an additional non-refundable deposit in advance of each day to cover the day hire cost.

Costs of delivering the photos

We do not charge any extra fees, for sending the photo(s) electronically via "Whats App", or email, or “We transfer” email, for the initial (first) time.

However, if you require printed photos to be sent in the post, and/or photos to be sent on a memory card, specific to the assignment, we will charge extra to cover the additional, where applicable, costs of the memory card, other productions and printing costs.

Studio or other production costs

Obviously, not all assignments / projects incur additional studio or venue hire costs. If they do, we expect you to pay for these directly to the studio / office / venue management, but of course we can provide recommendations based on our broad experience of already having used numerous photo, film, music studios and other venues throughout the UK.

Hire of actor(s), model(s), other staff

Most simple projects can be completed by using just the one photographer and/or videographer. However, we have previously, and can hire model(s), actor(s), additional photographer(s), videographers and even a full filmmaking crew if needed, but you need to state your requirements clearly so that we can provide accurate and value for money quotes.

Sharing images / digital content – timelines

We agree to shared images within 48 hours of production work completion; unless there is sickness, being victims of crime, domestic emergencies, accidents, injuries, you require post production work that you inform us of in writing, other reasonable compassionate mitigating circumstances preventing us doing so. In which case, you would not be invoiced until we have shared your photos / other digital content.

Disclaimer including limited liability

The company, "Forever Sci-Fi & Fantasy Ltd", commits to acting to high standards in being at photoshoots on time, and to capturing, storing, sharing digital images, audio, video, and other digital capture content, to agreed requirements. This being said, neither the photographer(s), videographer(s), model(s), other assistants, other, accept any personal financial or other responsibility for failure to attend, or meet expected standards, due to inevitable issues such as being victims of crime, injury, illness, transport failures, other domestic emergencies etc. In such cases the company will, where possible, communicate to allow the customer to book alternative photographers, videographers, other as soon as possible, and pay back any payments received (even if these would normally be not refundable). The company will also offer, at the company's discretion, free follow on photography / videography / filmmaking sessions, if the company failed to meet its agreed requirements first time due to its own fault.

Payment deadlines

Payments terms are 30 days from the date of us invoicing you. Our company reserves the right to charge interest at the rate prescribed by the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act, if payment is not received within 30 days of the invoice date.

Additional notes

(i) Please note, we only use memory cards that we buy and solely use ourselves (first-hand), to reduce the risk of receiving or spreading malware, and the fact that only certain memory cards are suitable for high quality digital content capture. PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY MEMORY CARDS FOR ASSIGNMENTS TO US.

(ii) If you require our photographer(s), assistants, other, to dress casual (jeans and t-shirt), more formal attire (trousers and shirt), or come in trekking-waterproof clothing for expeditions, etc., please state so in advance, and there will be no additional charge for this.
